Why I missed My Period For Over 7 days

Anyways, this is to my pretty ladies. Have you ever got tired of the regular monthly mood swings, pain, bleeding and you just wish for a menstruation free month?
Trust me, when this wish is granted we still come back asking; “why and how” questions.
Now, that brings us to…
The Story Of My Life
I’ve always wished for a period free month and yeah I partially got what I wanted.
This particular month, my menstruation refused to show its face and as someone that's always in check of my menstrual calendar, I know everything that goes on in each phase.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any hints this month. Even my town crier failed me!
The Town Crier “PMS”
Yeah, you get that, the town crier is “PMS.”
Premenstrual syndrome are the loads of symptoms and mood swings you get a few days to your period.
This month, I was quite occupied, so I didn't even take note of my PMS. Atleast, that could have given me a hint that a visitor is coming in a few days.
But nah! I just moved on with my daily life.
So Am I Pregnant🤔?
Mind you, my cycle length has always been 26-28 days and it’s over 28 days already.
Then I said to myself if it’s pregnancy then that means I’m the next Gen-z mother of Jesus👀.
Started singing: God, if you call my name I will answer a billion times. I’m a clown🤣.
Fast forward to 6 days later, I became more worried. Well, “probably my cycle length wants to readjust itself from 28 to 35 days.”
However, I looked back into what my past weeks have been like and guess what I remembered?
The Silent Culprit
Something struck my mind, Gbam! (not lightning please). Apple cider! So it’s you. The silent culprit.
It’s the only new thing I incorporated in my diet for that month. Though, I’ve tried it many years ago and it worked magic for my overall health and fitness.
I remembered then, it relieved my menstrual cramps and reduced my menstrual flow. So, yeah there is a link.
But to avoid a baseless conclusion I went online: does apple cider delay menstruation?
Even though it’s not scientifically backed, yeah, it does.
I immediately sealed the bottle and kept it till further notice. Don’t quote me wrong, apple cider works magic on the body and its benefits includes:
Prevents: painful menstruation and heavy period, type 2 diabetes, bloating, constipation.
It also relieves heartburn, lowers cholesterol level, controls acne, weight management, boosts heart health, reduces varicose veins, helps in healthy digestion and many more.
However, due to its high acidity it’s advisable to take it in moderation.
Moving on… So what happened next?
The August Visitor
Surprise, Surprise!
One lucky night, my August visitor calmly tapped me from my sleep. I jumped out of bed and welcomed it with my arms wide open😂.
Finally, the long awaited visitor is here. Somebody shout a big Hallelujah🥳💃!

Kudos to every woman for doing a job well done every month. Give yourself a round of applause👏🤝. Yeah! you deserve it.
Oops! We almost forgot our adorable men. Y’all are also doing great👍.
My moral lesson: Pay attention to your body and as a lady familiarize yourself with your menstrual cycle.
Also, don't be an overthinker like me (thinking I will be the mother of the next Jesus😅).
Prayer Point: May God fish out every silent culprit that’s causing worries in your life and give you an august visitor that’ll restore your joy. Say amen👀).
Finally, remember to always pamper yourself. Your body deserves it.
