Join This Cult Group
And You’ll Never Leave
I was in shock when I heard, some of you use cooking oil as body cream, some don't even use any cream and your skin shines like diamond.
You must be God’s favorite, I guess?
Yeah, it's questionable how some have glowing skin without having to stress over skincare while others struggle to have that same glowing skin even with daily skin care routine.
Wonder why this is so🤔?
Nevertheless,
Having glowing skin is not an impossible task for anyone just that there is more to owning it.
Everyone wishes to have a skin that speaks everywhere you go.
Imagine you look 20 when you are actually 40, isn't that amazing?
Ask me how this is possible? It’s simply by joining a cult group called “Skincare routine”.
Yeah, I called it a cult group because once you are in, my dear there is no going back.
When you gradually start seeing the results, you will definitely want to continue the process.
It brings out the youthful you and in 20 years to come, you’ll thank your younger self for making the right skin care decision.
Mind you, I'm not a dermatologist but based on several research and personal experience, it’s valid.
If you are really ready to join this cult group, you need to have a separate face and body skincare routine.
Laying It Brick by Brick
For your face, There is a step by step approach which is in this order:
Facial scrub: this helps exfoliate your skin, removes dirt and dead skin cells from your skin’s surface making it smoother and softer.
Cleanser or facial wash: They both perform almost the same function. Face washes remove impurities, germs, dirt and makeup that can irritate your skin. It is made to clean your pores more deeply while a face cleanser purifies, hydrates and soothes your skin.
Actually, using the two in the same routine is unnecessary.
Facial toner: It’s part of the cleansing process, it removes excess oil and traces of stubborn dirt that your cleanser may have left behind.
Face serum: They protect your skin from future damage, fight signs of aging, boost collagen production and also help treat skin conditions like acne, redness, dryness and more.
Moisturizer: They help seal your skin, lock in moisture and nutrients and also protects the skin from environmental irritants.
Sunscreen: They block ultraviolet radiation from being absorbed by the skin. These UV rays damage skin cells causing sunburn, wrinkles, premature aging and skin cancer.
Note: You can apply other personal special creams you use after your serum but before your moisturizer.
Do not apply body lotion or bar soap on your face. This is a general mistake that most people make.
For your body, that isn’t a big deal.
Apply your body scrub; either salt or sugar scrub (preferably twice or thrice a week)
Your body soap or body wash any time and any day ( at most twice daily).
After having your bath, apply your moisturizing body cream, body serum and you’re good to go.
On a Final Note
Remember, our body is different, find the products that works best for you and stick to it. You can as well see a dermatologist for recommendations.
